Sr. Privacy Engineer (CRM)

Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management Group is seeking a Senior Privacy Engineer to join their team in Mounds View, Minnesota. This role focuses on leading data protection and privacy initiatives for medical devices and supporting IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with research and development teams to identify and mitigate data privacy risks, ensuring compliance with global standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include conducting data protection impact assessments, developing product-specific privacy policies, and guiding products through the Privacy by Design process. The role also involves managing privacy-related deliverables for regulatory bodies, supporting responses to customer privacy inquiries, and promoting privacy awareness through training and consultation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years of relevant experience, a master's degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or a PhD with relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification, experience in privacy compliance, strong decision-making skills, and knowledge of global privacy laws such as HIPAA and GDPR.
