Sr Privacy Counsel

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Privacy Counsel to join its London-based legal team. As the second dedicated privacy lawyer in London, this role offers an opportunity to significantly influence the company's global privacy strategy. The Trade Desk is a leading global demand-side platform that empowers advertisers with innovative tools for data-driven digital advertising campaigns.

In this role, the Senior Privacy Counsel will provide expert legal guidance on a wide range of data privacy issues, ensuring compliance with evolving global privacy laws. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating data protection terms in commercial agreements, advising business and product teams on privacy risk management, and continually improving legal processes to support the company's global expansion.

Candidates should be UK-qualified solicitors with a minimum of six years' post-qualified experience, preferably from an internationally recognized law firm. Experience in advising on privacy matters, consumer protection, and global privacy laws such as the EU/UK GDPR is essential. Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative approach are crucial for success in this role.
