Sr. Principal AI/ML Data Management & Governance Lead
Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Principal AI/ML Data Management & Governance Lead to oversee the development and implementation of master data management and governance frameworks for AI operational solutions. This role is integral to ensuring that Lucid's data, AI, and autonomous agents operate safely and in compliance with regulations. The position is based in Newark, CA, with options for select remote work.
The primary responsibilities include designing a unified governance architecture across four critical domains: Core Data Integrity & Lineage, Semantic Governance & Ontologies, AI Explainability & Forensic Safety, and Agentic AI Controls. This involves creating federated governance models, architecting automated metadata harvesting systems, implementing sovereignty and traceability frameworks, defining enterprise ontologies, building Explainable AI frameworks, and establishing identity frameworks for non-human agents.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience with a Master's degree or 12 years with a Bachelor's degree is required. Strategic leadership skills, a proven track record in high-stakes industries, and technical expertise in knowledge graph architectures, policy engines, enterprise-scale data catalogs, and multi-cloud security are essential.
