McGuireWoods, a leading global law firm established in 1834, is seeking a Senior Practice Support Specialist to join their team. This role is available in multiple offices, including Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic litigation technology partner, supporting complex litigation matters across the full eDiscovery lifecycle—from early data strategy and processing through trial presentation. The firm offers a hybrid remote option, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

In this position, the Senior Practice Support Specialist will collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, IT staff, and external vendors to deliver seamless litigation technology support. Responsibilities include advising case teams on best practices throughout the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle, leading complex eDiscovery workflows such as data processing and document review management, and providing hands-on trial support, including deposition synchronization, video clips, exhibit management, and in-court presentations. Additionally, the role involves serving as a consultative resource on defensible, cost-effective data management strategies and acting as a subject matter expert in litigation support tools and emerging technologies. Training and mentoring team members, as well as participating in on-call support and providing after-hours assistance as required, are also key aspects of the role.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline. A strong legal background with in-depth knowledge of litigation processes is essential. Extensive experience supporting complex litigation matters is required, along with strong proficiency in eDiscovery tools such as RelativityOne, Nuix, LAW PreDiscovery, and trial presentation software (OnCue preferred). The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure, exceptional communication and client service skills, and a highly collaborative team-oriented approach are crucial. Willingness to travel and provide on-call support as needed is also necessary.

McGuireWoods offers an excellent benefits package and a hybrid remote work option, allowing employees to achieve a balance between professional and personal commitments. The firm is committed to providing innovative legal solutions to its clients and offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Joining McGuireWoods as a Senior Practice Support Specialist provides the opportunity to work with a leading law firm that values collaboration, innovation, and client service. The role offers exposure to complex litigation matters and the chance to contribute to the firm's success through strategic litigation technology support.
