The Senior Manager of Hardware Test Engineering at Oklo will lead the Idaho Falls test organization, overseeing the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of test programs, including prototypic thermal-hydraulic, materials, and tribology test systems. This role involves close collaboration with design engineering, safety analysis, and regulatory teams to ensure test data supports the licensing and deployment of Oklo's advanced reactors.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining structured approaches for test planning, execution, and reporting that meet technical, regulatory, and safety requirements. The manager will own the roadmap for Oklo's Idaho Falls test facility, manage multidisciplinary teams to execute tests on time and within budget, and lead the procurement and integration of major test equipment. Ensuring data quality, traceability, and configuration control for all test results is also essential.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical, nuclear, electrical, or a related engineering discipline, with at least 10 years of experience in test engineering, including increasing responsibility in leadership or management. Experience in developing and executing test programs in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense is required, along with familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and facility operations. A demonstrated track record of delivering complex test programs is essential.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $180,000 annually, along with flexible time off, equity, 401(k), health insurance, FSA, and flexible work hours. Candidates willing to relocate to Idaho Falls are preferred, although qualified remote candidates willing to travel up to 25% of the time will be considered.
