Sr. Manager, Clinical Trial Operations Planning & Analytics
The Sr. Manager, Clinical Trial Operations Planning & Analytics at Legend Biotech is responsible for developing and implementing strategic planning and analytics capabilities to support the company's pipeline studies. This role focuses on establishing scalable approaches for feasibility assessments, site identification, study startup planning, forecasting, and trial performance analytics to enhance predictability and enable proactive operational interventions. The position is based in Somerset, New Jersey, and involves close collaboration with Clinical Operations leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to refine strategies and translate data into actionable operational decisions across the study lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of standardized frameworks, tools, and processes for feasibility studies, site identification, enrollment forecasting, and predictive trial performance modeling. The role involves creating data-driven approaches to identify optimal countries and sites globally to accelerate activation and enrollment, as well as building scenario models to support operational strategies and contingency planning. Additionally, the Sr. Manager is tasked with establishing risk indicators, maintaining dashboards to monitor trial performance, and translating study data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, data, or related discipline, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or related clinical research is required, with 10 or more years preferred. Experience in clinical operations planning, feasibility, study startup, and operational analytics is essential, along with familiarity with tools for trial forecasting and modeling. Strong critical thinking, analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well as effective communication and presentation abilities. Oncology, cell therapy, or early-phase clinical development experience is preferred.
