Sr. Linux & OCI Administrator (Oracle Linux / RHEL)
Mitratech is seeking an experienced Senior Linux and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator to support a production application hosted on OCI. This role focuses on Oracle Linux administration, OCI networking and security, Terraform-based automation, and operational support for SFTP and mail services. The successful candidate will join a globally dispersed team dedicated to building world-class products that simplify operations in the Legal, Risk, Compliance, and HR functions.
Key responsibilities include administering and supporting Oracle Linux systems through patching, tuning, and troubleshooting. The role also involves managing OCI resources such as compute instances, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), subnets, routing, and load balancers. Additionally, the administrator will configure and maintain OCI security components, design and troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues, provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform, and support SFTP and mail services. Participation in system monitoring, backup coordination, disaster recovery support, production support, incident management, and on-call rotations is also expected.
Candidates should have at least 7 years of professional experience administering Linux in production environments, preferably Oracle Linux or closely related Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Strong hands-on experience with OCI administration, including compute, networking, IAM, and security, is required. Experience supporting Oracle WebLogic Server and working knowledge of Oracle Database environments are also necessary. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, is essential. Additional skills include proficiency in Bash scripting, experience with SFTP and SMTP/mail services, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex incidents across OS, network, and platform layers.
Mitratech offers a competitive compensation package with an anticipated base salary ranging from $120,000 to $125,000 USD annually.
