SR Integrations Engineer
The Senior Integrations Engineer at Checkr plays a pivotal role in enhancing employee productivity across all departments by designing, building, and maintaining enterprise integrations that connect critical business systems. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, developing integrations using iPaaS platforms like to connect systems such as Salesforce, Workday, Zendesk, and Snowflake, and working closely with engineering, business systems, and product teams to align integration efforts with broader technical initiatives. The role also involves leading efforts to optimize the integration ecosystem for scalability and reliability, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows using AI technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support knowledge sharing and reduce dependency on individual team members.
The ideal candidate possesses advanced English proficiency and is available to work in a hybrid model in Santiago (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required, with a postgraduate degree considered a plus. The candidate should have over 5 years of professional experience in integration engineering, automation, or related technical roles, with hands-on experience building integrations using iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Zapier, MuleSoft, or Boomi. Strong programming skills in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Ruby are essential, along with experience in AI/ML projects, including developing AI-powered solutions and working with LLMs or implementing RAG architectures. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), API design, RESTful services, webhooks, and event-driven architectures is also desirable.
Checkr offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $28,516,129 to $33,548,387 CLP for this role in Santiago, Chile. Additional benefits include a hybrid work environment with three days in the office and two days remote, daily lunch provided on office days, a collaborative and dynamic work environment, an annual $3,000 USD stipend for learning and development, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, five extra vacation days, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
