Sr. Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer - Electronics & ICs

Eurofins EAG Laboratories is seeking a Senior Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer to join our Sunnyvale, CA laboratory. This role involves evaluating the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and integrated circuits to determine causes of failure, supporting clients across industries such as consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive, military, aerospace, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include performing hands-on analytical work on electronic components, reviewing and approving analysis data and reports, organizing and coordinating team workflow, and interfacing with external customers to maintain professional relationships. The engineer will also develop and deliver technical content for operations, sales, marketing, and other business development needs.

The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, with over 10 years of direct experience in semiconductor or electronics failure analysis. Hands-on expertise in electrical test measurements, X-ray (2D and CT/3D), scanning acoustic microscopy (C-SAM), and fault isolation techniques is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are required.
