Sr. Director, AI Finance & Legal Transformation

The Sr. Director of AI Finance & Legal Transformation at SharkNinja is a pivotal leadership role responsible for integrating artificial intelligence across the company's finance and legal departments. This position reports directly to the VP, Chief of Staff to the CEO, with dotted lines to the CFO and CLO, ensuring alignment with SharkNinja's strategic objectives. In this capacity, the Sr. Director will develop and execute a comprehensive AI transformation roadmap for finance functions—including FP&A, accounting, internal audit, tax, and investor relations—and legal functions such as contract management, IP, regulatory compliance, and litigation support. The individual will oversee multiple AI initiatives, ensuring they are interconnected, sequenced effectively, and driven to completion. A key responsibility is to build and lead a team of AI Fellows embedded within finance and legal teams to facilitate seamless AI integration.

The role demands a strong technical background in AI/ML, with hands-on experience deploying enterprise LLM platforms like Claude and ChatGPT. A deep understanding of enterprise finance operations, including FP&A, accounting, audit, controls, and ERP systems, is essential, along with a working knowledge of corporate legal operations such as contract lifecycle, IP, and compliance. Proven experience in leading large-scale transformations in complex, multi-stakeholder environments is crucial.
