Sr. Devops Engineer

Monks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic DevOps platform team in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting cutting-edge AI SaaS and PaaS solutions, contributing to the development and maintenance of our advanced technological infrastructure.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing automated infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform. You will deploy and manage containerized workloads in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement authentication and authorization systems using AWS Cognito. Additionally, you will support development teams in infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and environment configuration, ensuring compliance with security standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. You should have over 7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation, with strong expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline automation. Proficiency in AWS and GCP environments, solid scripting and automation skills, and experience operating in regulated environments are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are also required.
