Sr. Devops Engineer

Monks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic DevOps platform team in Bogotá, Colombia. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting cutting-edge AI SaaS and PaaS solutions, contributing to the development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. This position may require participation in an on-call support rotation in the future.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage automated infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform. You will deploy and manage containerized workloads in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement authentication and authorization systems using AWS Cognito. Collaborating with development teams, you will support infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and environment configuration, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. You should possess 5+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies and CI/CD technologies, including hands-on expertise with at least two different CI/CD ecosystems. Additionally, 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, strong knowledge of networking principles, and robust experience with operating system concepts are required. Proficiency in AWS and/or GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL is essential. English proficiency is mandatory.
