Sr. Contracts Attorney

The Senior Contracts Attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing various contracts, including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, master service agreements, vendor agreements, real estate contracts, clinical trial agreements, and research collaborations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Clinical Operations, Finance, Procurement, HR, Manufacturing, and Research to ensure compliance and efficiency in contract execution. Additionally, the attorney will develop and maintain standardized templates and processes for contract management, provide training and support to business units on contract requirements and approval workflows, and advise stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and have a minimum of five years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, preferably within a public life sciences company. Experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department is required. A comprehensive understanding of contract law and a working knowledge of drug development or commercialization are advantageous. Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, along with strong organizational and time-management abilities, are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset are also important. Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state is required.
