Sr. Consultant (Accela Applications)
Accela is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This role is pivotal in engaging with customer stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translating those needs into actionable requirements and configurations. The Senior Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Accela's solutions, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing government efficiency and citizen engagement.
Key responsibilities include leading structured requirements elicitation activities such as workshops and interviews, facilitating discussions to uncover business goals and constraints, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements. The role also involves developing current and future state business process flows, performing system configurations aligned with best practices, and coordinating with technical teams to define and clarify requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder facilitation within complex implementation projects. Hands-on experience configuring enterprise software solutions, proficiency in documenting requirements using industry-standard techniques, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional technical teams are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and comfort operating in fast-paced environments are also required.
