Sr. Atlassian Administrator
Kaseya is seeking a Senior Atlassian Administrator to support and enhance our Jira and Confluence environments utilized by engineering, operations, and business teams. This role focuses on automation, workflow development, integrations, and platform improvements to boost productivity across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with platform engineering, DevOps, and product teams to design scalable workflows, develop custom integrations, and maintain the reliability of our Atlassian ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining Jira workflows, schemes, screens, and custom fields, as well as configuring and maintaining Confluence spaces and integrations. The role involves developing automation using Jira Automation and scripting tools, implementing and maintaining Atlassian marketplace apps and plugins, and building integrations between Atlassian tools and other platforms such as Slack, GitHub/GitLab, service management systems, and CI/CD platforms. Additionally, the administrator will assist with platform upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting, support Atlassian cloud administration and configuration, monitor performance to ensure system reliability, and work with engineering and operations teams to streamline workflows and implement automation to reduce manual processes. Documentation of platform architecture and configuration, providing guidance and training to internal teams, and supporting troubleshooting of workflow and configuration issues are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), including configuring Jira workflows, screens, and permissions, and experience with Jira Automation and REST APIs. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy (ScriptRunner) is required, along with experience integrating Jira with other engineering tools and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with Atlassian Cloud administration, ScriptRunner, Forge, or Atlassian Connect, familiarity with ITSM platforms (Jira Service Management), experience supporting engineering or DevOps teams, and Atlassian certifications (ACP).
