Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Microbiology Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a global leader in analytical testing services, Eurofins provides comprehensive analyses across various sectors, including food, environment, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. Our accredited laboratory in Katowice specializes in food and feed analysis, utilizing advanced technologies to ensure quality and safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food, feed, and environmental samples for microbiological testing. Your daily tasks will include performing microbiological inoculations, preparing culture media, and meticulously documenting all analyses. Additionally, you will input data and test results into the laboratory information management system, with opportunities to conduct readings upon verification of your skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a higher education degree in biology, biotechnology, or a related field, along with at least one year of experience in a similar role. Practical knowledge of classical microbiological methods and proficiency in operating laboratory equipment are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, availability for shift work (morning and afternoon shifts), and strong organizational skills are also required. While not mandatory, knowledge of the English language is considered an asset.

We offer a full-time employment contract with shift work, including occasional weekends.
