Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to join the Metals Analysis Section at our accredited environmental laboratory in Katowice. Eurofins is a global leader in analytical testing services, providing comprehensive solutions across various sectors, including food, environment, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. Our Katowice laboratory specializes in environmental analyses, assisting clients in meeting environmental protection regulations and offering optimal solutions for their operations and investments.

The Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for the mineralization and analysis of water, wastewater, soil, waste, and sludge samples using ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS methods. Key duties include overseeing measurement and research equipment, evaluating test results for reporting, validation, verification, and quality control purposes, participating in maintaining the management system in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standards, and maintaining documentation as per established procedures.

Candidates should possess a secondary or higher education in chemistry or related fields, with at least one year of laboratory experience using ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS methods. Practical knowledge and experience in elemental analysis using these techniques are essential. Familiarity with laboratory quality control systems is required, along with readiness to work in a two-shift system and the ability to work effectively in a team. A basic knowledge of English is advantageous.
