As a Solutions Engineer at Mixpanel, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives to drive revenue growth by serving as the key technical contact for customers. Your role involves understanding customer needs, providing strategic consultation on data architecture, and effectively communicating Mixpanel's value proposition to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include leading technical qualifications for customer use cases, delivering customized product demonstrations, and guiding prospects through proof-of-concept projects. You will also partner with post-sales teams to ensure that the pre-sales value proposition translates into tangible post-sales value, and develop relationships with key technical stakeholders within your assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience in a client-facing professional services or sales engineering role within a SaaS company. Proficiency in data querying, modeling, and transformation using tools such as SQL, dbt, or Python is essential. Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses like Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks is also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects with assorted stakeholders are crucial.
