The Solutions Engineer (India Startup Program) at Neo4j is a highly technical, customer-facing role focused on assisting AI-focused startups in Neo4j's Startup Program. The Solutions Engineer will also help startups design and implement LLM-enabled solutions using Neo4j, including RAG, knowledge graphs, and agent-based architectures. Additionally, the role involves owning the ongoing technical relationship with assigned startups, running regular check-ins, and proactively identifying risks or blockers.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Neo4j or other graph databases, including data modeling, Cypher, clustering/topology, and performance tuning. A background in solutions engineering, solution architecture, professional services, customer success, or a similar customer-facing technical role is essential. Experience or strong interest in AI/LLMs and agentic architectures, along with practical exposure to modern AI tooling, is highly desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP are also required.
