Software Test Engineer (Wi-Fi)
Arista Networks is seeking a Software Test Engineer specializing in Wi-Fi to join our Bangalore office. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, field support engineers, product managers, and fellow test engineers to analyze customer requirements, develop test plans, and ensure our Wi-Fi products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the Arista Wi-Fi cloud architecture and its components, designing and deploying complex networks that replicate customer environments at scale, and conducting end-to-end testing of wired and wireless deployments. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for field escalations, reproducing issues locally and coordinating with various teams to drive resolutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with 5 to 15 years of experience in troubleshooting wired or wireless networks and debugging complex software. Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technologies, including RF and L1 intricacies, Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 6, is mandatory. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, proficiency in Linux systems and networking tools, and excellent written and oral English communication skills are also required.
Arista offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $110,000 to $185,000, depending on work location and individual qualifications.
