Software Quality Assurance - Manual Testing (Senior)
is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in manual testing to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our quality assurance department, you will collaborate closely with engineering, UI/UX, infrastructure, and product management teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications. In this position, you will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Your day-to-day activities will include performing various types of testing, such as user interface, functionality, regression, and integration testing, to ensure overall product quality. Additionally, you will manage bug reports, communicate findings to the team, and actively participate in analysis, design, and planning activities. Advocating for good Agile practices and demonstrating a continuous eagerness to learn and grow as a professional are essential aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a formal degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable skills and experience. A minimum of three years of experience in manual quality assurance is required, along with experience working with both web and mobile applications (iOS & Android). Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or SoapUI, as well as a high level of comfort in using SQL for in-depth data testing, is essential. Familiarity with test case and bug management tools such as Phabricator or TestRail, experience in Agile methodologies, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English, are required. While not mandatory, experience in programming languages like NodeJS, Java, Python, or Ruby, as well as automation testing frameworks like Appium or Selenium, and CI/CD processes using Jenkins or GitLab, would be advantageous.
