Software Engineer (Wifi/ Embedded)

Arista Networks is seeking a Software Engineer to join its WiFi Access Point team, focusing on the development of next-generation, cloud-managed WiFi solutions. This role involves end-to-end product development within a fast-paced environment, contributing to Arista's innovative networking technologies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, design and implement software solutions, and oversee their deployment and validation. Responsibilities include staying abreast of emerging technologies, proposing innovative product enhancements, and working closely with sales and support teams to address customer needs and resolve escalations.

Applicants should possess strong engineering and computer science fundamentals, with 3 to 15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in C or C++ programming within a Linux environment is required. Experience in areas such as network device drivers, operating system internals, kernels, compilers, or SoC architecture is essential. Familiarity with WiFi device drivers on Linux and hands-on experience with WiFi chipset platforms are preferred.
