Software Engineer Visual Simulation, Advanced Capabilities

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Visual Simulation to join the Maneuver Dominance Advanced Capabilities team in London. This team focuses on developing strategic capabilities through analysis, wargaming, and warfighter-centric approaches to enhance future combat effectiveness.

In this role, you will lead the development of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) user experiences to support operations analysis and wargaming. Responsibilities include creating simulation visuals for various military operations, maintaining core capabilities in Unreal Engine, integrating third-party plugins, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product development.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of industry experience in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design, or Robotics. Proficiency in C++ and Python, experience with Unity and Unreal Engine, and a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming are essential. Additionally, eligibility to obtain and maintain an active UKSV Security Clearance is required.
