Software Engineer (Platform/EOS/Networking)

Arista Networks is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Platform team, focusing on the development of cutting-edge features for our data center networking platforms. This role involves close collaboration with hardware components and chip programming, contributing to the advancement of our industry-leading products.

In this position, you will be responsible for the entire development process, including feature selection, design and architecture, implementation, testing, and documentation. Additionally, you may engage directly with customers to ensure the successful deployment and functionality of the features you develop.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience, a strong background in algorithms and software architecture, and proficiency in C/C++ programming. Experience with embedded systems, hardware abstraction layers, and network protocols such as ACLs, QoS, and EVPN MPLS is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
