Software Developer(SRE) - CloudVision as a Service (CVaaS)
Arista Networks is seeking a Software Developer (Site Reliability Engineer) to join the CloudVision as a Service (CVaaS) team. This role involves managing and enhancing Arista's global CloudVision service fleet, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include building and deploying critical production systems with a focus on scalability and security, monitoring and improving product deployment experiences, automating operational processes to reduce manual tasks, and proactively managing alerts and incident responses. The role also involves creating and maintaining incident response runbooks, deploying new systems with an emphasis on reliability, and collaborating with product development teams to resolve infrastructural issues.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, and Bash is required, as well as a strong understanding of Linux or UNIX systems. Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices and tools, server provisioning, and operating software systems at scale is essential. Additional desirable skills include experience with databases like PostgreSQL, containerization technologies such as Docker, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and CI/CD systems like GitLab or Spinnaker.
Arista Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $101,000 to $161,000, depending on location and experience. Employees are also eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and income protection plans.
