Social Media Intern
As a Social Media Intern at Epic Games, you will join the Social Media & Editorial team to help bring the company's stories to life across various digital platforms. This role offers an opportunity to learn how gaming brands engage global communities through creative storytelling, platform-native content, and real-time cultural conversations. You will collaborate with teams across Marketing, Creative, Communications, and Game Development to create content that excites players and keeps our social channels fresh and authentic.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and publishing social-first content for Epic’s global social media ecosystem, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Reddit. You will brainstorm creative ideas for short-form videos, memes, and platform-native formats that resonate with gaming communities. Additionally, you will support the production of real-time and scheduled content, such as gameplay clips, creator highlights, and community spotlights, while monitoring community conversations to identify opportunities for timely, reactive engagement.
We are seeking current students or recent graduates in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related fields who have a passion for gaming, pop culture, and online communities, especially Fortnite, Rocket League, and Unreal Engine. Strong familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, along with an understanding of what resonates on each, is essential. A creative mindset with the ability to spot trends and translate them into fun, relevant content, as well as excellent writing and communication skills, are also important. Experience with video editing, graphic design, or social media management tools such as Sprout or Emplifi is a plus.
This internship offers a flexible start date in 2026, with recruitment ongoing until an ideal match is found.
