Social Art Designer
Monks is seeking a creative Social Art Designer to join our dynamic team in Madrid. In this role, you will collaborate with a design-savvy and creative team to develop and adapt designs for social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze regional and local market requirements, ensuring that all visual executions align with brand guidelines and maintain high-quality standards across various channels.
Key responsibilities include generating clear ideas in partnership with the content team to support local markets in the conceptual and visual execution of campaigns for an iconic automotive brand. You will manage the visual aspects of the social media calendar, conduct image research to source the best visuals for each campaign, and present complete ideas and art designs to clients and team members. Additionally, you will own smaller projects or specific parts of larger projects, ensuring all design tasks are completed with excellence.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of proven experience in all stages of the creative process within advertising or communications agencies, specifically as an Art Designer. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential. Competence in additional programs like Figma, Sketch, AfterEffects, or video editing/color-editing tools is a plus. Fluency in English is required, along with a clear understanding of design fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, flow, and storytelling. The candidate should be comfortable with repetitive tasks when necessary, experienced in creating client presentations using PowerPoint or Google Slides, and possess curiosity, creativity, a keen eye for detail, and a high visual quality standard. Being a great team player, open to feedback, and proactive in seeking development opportunities are also important qualities.
