SLED Account Manager
The SLED Account Manager at Arista Networks is a pivotal role within the sales team, focusing on State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts in the South Florida region. This position involves acting as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning Arista's technical resources to meet customer business outcomes, and collaborating with skilled Customer Engineers and Professional Services teams. The role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area Vice President of Sales.
Key responsibilities include exceeding measurable sales objectives, extending the Arista brand within targeted SLED accounts, and utilizing a consultative selling approach to address business needs related to hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems. The Account Manager will work with Arista's product portfolio, including Software-Driven Cloud Data Center, Campus solutions, VeloCloud SDWAN, AI Networking platforms, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), Network Monitoring Fabric solutions, and NDR security solutions. Engaging with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to present Arista's value proposition is essential. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with technology partners, managing key channel relationships, formulating strategic account plans, and conducting demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.
The ideal candidate will possess a BS/BA degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 7 years of technology sales experience, particularly within Florida SLED accounts in South Florida. A proven track record of direct selling and exceeding sales targets is crucial. Relevant experience in data center or networking industries (LAN/WAN, SDN) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is required. Strong relationships within the territory, excellent interpersonal skills, and technical acumen in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing are also necessary.
Arista Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $108,000 to $145,000, with potential for discretionary bonuses and equity. Employees in sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista's Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales.
