Site Supervisor R4
BESIX Unitec is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor for the R4WO project, a comprehensive redevelopment of the R4 West and East around Ghent. This ambitious initiative spans 31 locations and includes the construction of bridges, tunnels, culverts, and other civil structures aimed at enhancing traffic flow and regional livability.
In this role, you will oversee daily project execution, ensuring adherence to the established work plan in terms of time, budget, and quality. Responsibilities include implementing safety policies during project realization, drafting deviation forms for any discrepancies in execution, coordinating third-party activities as specified in the work plan, identifying planning bottlenecks across disciplines, and ensuring compliance with VCA and ISO standards. Additionally, you will closely monitor suppliers and internal teams under your supervision.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in complex infrastructure projects, with a minimum of three years' relevant experience in traffic engineering and/or public lighting technology. Proven leadership, interpersonal communication, and change management skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate, delegate, and coordinate effectively to foster a collaborative team spirit. Proficiency in Dutch is required, with a good command of English and/or French. A strong technical background and familiarity with MS Office are also necessary.
