As a Site Reliability Engineer at Precisely, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of our global SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with senior management, Platform Engineering, QA, and development teams to enhance system stability through automation, monitoring, and best operational practices. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.

Your primary responsibilities will include improving system reliability by developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting tools, automating operational processes, and supporting cloud and platform environments to ensure service resilience. You will respond to incidents, assist in restoring services promptly, and work to prevent recurrence. Additionally, you will support production changes and infrastructure improvements, provide secondary support for network systems, and document systems and operational practices comprehensively.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience supporting production systems, platforms, or infrastructure, with a strong background in maintaining reliable systems in production environments. Proficiency in cloud or virtual environments, automation, monitoring, and system operations is essential. Familiarity with network concepts such as Fortinet firewalls, Cisco routing, F5 load balancing, or virtual private connectivity is highly desirable. Experience with certificates or infrastructure automation is considered a plus.
