Site Manager - Construction - NL
As a Site Manager at Franki Foundations, a subsidiary of the international BESIX Group, you will oversee construction sites across Belgium, the Netherlands, and France. Franki Foundations specializes in deep foundation solutions, executing over 500 projects annually in sectors such as residential, industrial, energy, and infrastructure. In collaboration with Project Managers and under the guidance of the Principal Site Manager, you will be responsible for preparing, supplying, and monitoring construction sites. Your duties include cost tracking, ensuring delivery compliance, optimizing team schedules, and facilitating effective communication among clients, architects, design offices, and project owners.
Effective team management is crucial in this role. You will implement health, safety, and environmental requirements, meet client demands and quality procedures, and ensure project deadlines are met. Additionally, you will serve as an information conduit for your teams regarding internal procedures, participate in their training and evaluation, promote company values, and maintain high standards of equipment cleanliness and operability.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction or equivalent experience. While prior experience in a technical sector with team management is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Flexibility for travel and variable work schedules is required. Fluency in French and Dutch is essential; proficiency in English is a plus. Strong organizational skills, a focus on safety, quality, and results, excellent people management abilities, initiative, and responsibility are key attributes. Familiarity with IT tools and possession of a valid driver's license (Category B) are also necessary.
