Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Contract)
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist at Oklo is a hands-on, in-person role based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This position is ideal for an energetic, detail-oriented individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The primary responsibilities include managing daily inbound and outbound shipments at the Idaho Falls facility. This entails receiving and inspecting deliveries, updating inventory records, preparing outgoing packages, coordinating carrier pickups, and maintaining general warehouse organization. Additional tasks involve performing general warehouse housekeeping, supporting small office tasks, and ensuring a safe and efficient workplace in coordination with the facilities manager and team lead.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and be familiar with shop safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and housekeeping basics. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and file management, are required. The role demands strong communication and teamwork abilities, as well as the physical capability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. A valid driver's license is also necessary.
