Services Engineer

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Services Engineer to plan and coordinate the design and on-site engineering activities of building services, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and fire systems. This role is integral to ensuring that project specifications, cost budgets, and construction programs are met effectively.

Key responsibilities include participating in the design management of building services to ensure documentation aligns with required specifications and budgets, coordinating with engineering consultants and subcontractors, identifying cost-saving opportunities, reviewing documentation for design adequacy, monitoring the production of workshop drawings and as-built documents, overseeing construction and installation quality on-site, and participating in project handover and commissioning processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with experience in coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design, construction, and installation activities on building projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels are essential, along with demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and sound decision-making abilities.
