As a Service Technician HVAC at ComTIS Services, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on technical installations in buildings. In this role, your primary responsibilities include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cooling installations. You will perform measurements of pressure, temperature, flow, and efficiency, diagnose and resolve malfunctions, and repair or replace defective components like fans, sensors, valves, and motors. Additionally, you will install and commission new systems, monitor and analyze energy consumption, and optimize installations. Accurate reporting of completed work via digital work orders and adherence to safety regulations and quality standards are essential aspects of the job.
The ideal candidate possesses a technical education or relevant experience in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, or electromechanics. Required certifications include G1/G2 and a refrigeration certificate, with basic electrical knowledge (BA4/BA5 certification is a plus). A VCA certificate is necessary, or a willingness to obtain one. The role demands an independent, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach, with a focus on customer orientation, safety, and quality. Flexibility for on-call duties and overtime is expected. Proficiency in Dutch is required, and knowledge of French is advantageous. A valid driver's license B is also necessary.
