Service Planner
The Service Planner role at Arista Networks is integral to the Service Logistics Organization, focusing on the efficient management of post-sales support offerings. This position involves planning and maintaining optimal inventory levels across Arista's global service depots to ensure timely delivery of critical spare parts to customers. The Service Planner collaborates closely with various teams to uphold Arista's commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include determining appropriate inventory levels to support customer service contracts, ensuring on-time delivery of hardware replacements within specified service level agreements, and defining minimum stocking levels based on factors such as install base and return rates. The role also involves optimizing inventory to balance delivery goals with cost efficiency, coordinating with Repair Operations and Manufacturing for inventory replenishment, and overseeing inventory metrics to maintain service quality.
Candidates should possess a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or service operations. A solid understanding of supply chain concepts, including inventory planning and logistics, is essential. Experience in the high-tech industry, particularly with networking equipment, is preferred. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
