Service Parts Advisor, Costa Mesa
The Service Parts Advisor position at Lucid Motors in Costa Mesa is integral to the service center's operations, focusing on parts efficiency to support seamless service delivery. This role involves overseeing parts operations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through effective parts inventory management.
Key responsibilities include managing parts inventory by anticipating and addressing business needs, maintaining accurate inventory control systems, ordering and receiving parts for repairs, and efficiently stocking them. The advisor will also handle parts transfers between service locations, generate parts estimates for customers and insurance companies, stay updated on part revisions, and organize parts warranty returns. Achieving and maintaining a high First Time Fill Rate (FTFR) is essential to ensure timely and accurate service.
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor, with a strong track record of efficiently dispatching parts to technicians. Proficiency in parts catalog searches, willingness to obtain forklift certification, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are required. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to use basic computer applications and lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver's license with no suspensions in the past year is also necessary.
