Service Delivery Manager - Patent Annuities (m/d/f)

Questel, a global leader in intellectual property services and software, is seeking a Service Delivery Manager for Patent Annuities to join their dedicated team in Starnberg, Germany. This role focuses on delivering high-quality services to international clients, ensuring the maintenance and renewal of their intellectual property rights.

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will independently support both new and existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact between customers and internal departments. Your responsibilities include presenting client engagement models to new clients, building strong relationships at various levels, gathering and documenting client information, identifying training needs, and preparing and conducting training sessions. Additionally, you will manage manual and electronic order processing for national and international property right renewals, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and individual contracts. Regular correspondence with international clients in English, processing individual inquiries, and contributing to business objectives are also key aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate will have completed education as a patent paralegal or foreign language correspondent, with several years of experience in customer and order management, preferably in a service environment. Practical experience in intellectual property and deadline management is essential. The role requires an independent, reliable, detail-oriented, and precise approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Fluency in English and conversational German is required; proficiency in additional foreign languages is advantageous. A strong affinity for IT and confident handling of MS Office are necessary, and project management experience is beneficial.
