Divergent is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the design, development, qualification, and production support of components for a clean sheet development project. This role is integral to the company's mission of revolutionizing manufacturing through its Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS), which leverages machine learning, additive manufacturing, and flexible assembly to produce optimized vehicle structures and subsystems. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects by managing resources, risks, and technical baselines. Key duties include collaborating across technical teams to ensure project milestones are met with precision and quality, facilitating technical review meetings, documenting and communicating decisions to stakeholders, supporting configuration management, risk and issue management, scheduling processes, and creating, managing, tracking, and reporting project spending.

Candidates must possess the ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls, a BS degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering field, and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent. Proficiency with Atlassian tools, particularly Confluence and Jira, and experience in both traditional and agile project methodologies are required. Preferred qualifications include a background in configuration management, experience with Microsoft Project or Smartsheets, Project Management Professional certification, familiarity with gas turbine design, and knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques, specifically metal additive manufacturing for component development and production.
