Senior Technical Advisor (Former CIO / CTO)

Blake Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for a former Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with extensive experience in leading technology initiatives within professional services firms. The Senior Technical Advisor will provide strategic guidance and oversight to our IT department, ensuring alignment with the firm's business objectives.

The primary responsibilities include advising on the development and implementation of the firm's technology strategy, overseeing major IT projects, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT systems. The advisor will collaborate closely with senior management to identify technological opportunities that enhance client service and operational effectiveness.

Candidates must possess a proven track record as a CIO or CTO, preferably within a law firm or similar professional services environment. Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies are essential.
