Monks is seeking an experienced Senior Storage Area Network (SAN) Administrator to join our team in Cupertino, CA. This on-site role involves managing and optimizing our enterprise storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. While experience with Xsan and StorNext is highly desirable, we welcome candidates with deep expertise in any enterprise SAN environment eager to apply their skills to our platform.

The Senior SAN Administrator will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise storage area network infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting SAN performance issues, implementing and managing SAN zoning, LUN masking, and fabric configurations, as well as developing backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support storage needs and maintaining comprehensive documentation are also key aspects of the role.

Candidates should have over seven years of hands-on experience administering enterprise SAN environments, with strong knowledge of Fibre Channel protocols and switch management. Experience with enterprise storage arrays such as NetApp, Dell EMC, or Pure Storage is essential. A solid understanding of storage protocols, proficiency with SAN zoning and LUN provisioning, and familiarity with Linux and/or macOS server environments are required. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills are also necessary.

Monks offers a competitive salary range of $133,298 to $150,925 USD for this full-time position.
