Senior Solutions Engineer - Sydney

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Neo4j, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by articulating business value, crafting solutions that address customer needs, and accelerating enterprise adoption. You will engage in deep technical and business discovery, support the sales process through value-based selling, and collaborate with key partners, including hyperscalers and strategic ISVs, to drive joint go-to-market initiatives.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading technical discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and success criteria, ensuring solutions align with business objectives. You will drive value-based selling by clearly articulating Neo4j's unique differentiators and return on investment to both technical and business stakeholders. Additionally, you will develop proof-of-value demonstrations and prototypes that showcase tangible business outcomes, and work closely with the sales team to support deal qualification and opportunity progression.

The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical experience, along with a strong understanding of data platforms and AI/ML technologies. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as data visualization tools, is also desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in fast-paced, sales-driven environments are crucial.
