Senior Solutions Engineer
Remote is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Remote Build organization. This role focuses on scaling the solutions engineering function to support sales and customer outcomes, ensuring high-quality technical discovery, strong commercial outcomes, and alignment with Remote's product vision. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
In this role, the Senior Solutions Engineer will be responsible for building and scaling a solutions engineering function to support sales and customer outcomes. This includes defining role profiles and coverage models, establishing repeatable technical discovery and solution design processes, and setting clear engagement models, roles, responsibilities, and success metrics. The individual will also own executive relationships with key customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring commercial impact, technical quality, and alignment to product vision. Additionally, the role involves contributing to a formal solutions engineering enablement and competency program, defining levels, requirements, and maintenance criteria, and partnering with Solution Architecture to codify technical standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience building and leading a solutions engineering function, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management. Strong executive stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving outcomes through influence, are essential. Excellent cross-functional leadership and operational rigor, with the ability to turn ambiguous goals into repeatable processes, are also required. The candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical detail into executive-level narratives. Hands-on experience designing, building, and shipping AI agent workflows, with a pragmatic approach to safety, evaluation, and iteration, is highly desirable. Domain experience in HRTech, payroll, HCM, or adjacent industries is a plus.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $70,000 to $200,000 USD annually.
