Senior Solution Lead, Pre-Sales & Solution Strategy (remote)
Monks is seeking a Senior Solution Lead to join its Pre-Sales & Solution Strategy team. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Delivery, Product, and Client Leadership to develop market solutions and influence multi-million-dollar outcomes. The position focuses on large, complex opportunities valued at $1 million or more, requiring strategic problem-framing, technical expertise, and effective storytelling. The Senior Solution Lead will report to the Head of Pre-Sales & Solution Strategy and work with a globally distributed team across India, the US, and Europe.
Key responsibilities include translating client goals into clear, technically credible solution architectures using tools like Figma, Miro, or Adobe. The role involves leading discovery workshops, defining winning solutions, and creating narratives and pricing models that position Monks favorably against competitors. The Senior Solution Lead will manage the solution narrative across various stages, including EOI, RFI, RFP responses, and executive briefings. Additionally, the role requires providing high-level pricing estimates tied to value impact statements for clients, encompassing software, hardware, cloud, and tooling licensing for POC, MVP, and commercial models.
The ideal candidate will have 7 to 12 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting roles within IT services, SaaS, cloud, or AI-led solutions. Proven ability to influence or close services deals valued at $1 million or more is essential. A strong understanding of service delivery, including SDLC, cloud migrations, modernization, architecture patterns, and infrastructure operations, is required. Experience in designing or positioning solutions with AI integration, agent workflows, automation, or model-enhanced applications is also necessary. The candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English and be comfortable working with distributed global teams across time zones.
