Senior Software Engineer, Mobile & Web
Flex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our core user experience across mobile and web platforms. As a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in New York City, Flex is revolutionizing the rent payment process by offering users the flexibility to pay rent on a schedule that aligns with their financial needs. Our mission is to empower renters with control over their most significant recurring expense.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and scale new product offerings. Your primary focus will be on launching new features that simplify complex problems for our users. Working in an agile environment, you will engage daily with designers, product managers, and quality engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in React.js or React Native, with strong computer science fundamentals. Proficiency in building high-quality mobile and web user interfaces to specifications is essential. Experience with various architectures and tools within the React ecosystem, such as Hooks, Components, Context, and Redux, is required. Additionally, a background in delivering large-scale products without performance bottlenecks and the ability to write maintainable, testable TypeScript code are important.
Flex offers a competitive compensation package based on work location. For Tier A locations (NYC/SF/Seattle), the salary range is $172,000 to $210,000 USD. Tier B locations offer $154,000 to $190,000 USD, and Tier C locations offer $146,000 to $180,000 USD.
