Doctolib is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the TIGAH team within our Patient Relationship Management domain. This role focuses on developing features for Document Management, Patient Qualification, and Patient Intake, which are essential for streamlining patient care journeys in healthcare practices. By reducing paperwork and enhancing care delivery, these features aim to improve the work life of health professionals and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and shipping features throughout both the discovery and delivery phases of product development. Your work will involve developing the Ruby on Rails monolith with a React (TypeScript) frontend, as well as contributing to newly created services in Java/Kotlin. You will actively share your knowledge through pair- and mob-programming sessions, address infrastructure topics like observability and scalability, and write test-driven, pragmatically engineered code.

The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience in software engineering, with proficiency in Java/Kotlin or Ruby on Rails development, as well as React development. A proactive, involved, curious, and collaborative mindset is essential. Additional experience with cloud-native systems on Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), setting up and evolving CI/CD with GitHub Actions, maintaining high testing standards, debugging and improving distributed systems in production, and expertise in designing data models and driving database migrations and performance tuning for real-time workloads (preferably PostgreSQL) would be advantageous.

Doctolib offers a comprehensive benefits package, including company health insurance through our partner Allianz, a minimum of 28 days of paid leave, and a Parent Care Program that provides an additional month of leave on top of the legal parental leave. Employees also have access to free mental health and coaching services through our partner Moka.care, support for caregivers and workers with disabilities, a flexible workplace policy offering both hybrid and office-based modes, the ability to work from EU countries and the UK for up to 10 days per year, and reimbursement of public transportation costs.

At Doctolib, we are committed to improving access to healthcare for everyone. We evaluate candidates based solely on qualifications and motivation, without any form of discrimination. We believe that the more diverse ideas are heard, the more our product will truly improve healthcare for all. You are welcome to apply to Doctolib, regardless of your gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or disability.
