Senior Software Engineer I, FIX

Braze is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our WhatsApp team, responsible for building and scaling one of our newest messaging channels. This team manages all aspects of sending, analytics, and subscription management for WhatsApp, including a feature-rich dashboard for message composition and a highly parallelized platform for processing WhatsApp events.

In this role, you will develop new features, enhance performance, and provide guidance on key architectural decisions. You will tackle significant engineering challenges, such as designing new iterations of critical system components and optimizing system resilience at scale. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of full-stack development experience, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms. Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, and TypeScript is highly desirable. Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with prior experience in team environments, are essential.
