Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) - Design System & Mobile (x/f/m) - Paris or Nantes
Doctolib is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Design System & Accessibility Team, contributing to our mission of becoming the leading digital and secure medical companion for patients. As part of the Platform domain, this team focuses on building and maintaining the foundational components of our system, enabling product teams to develop solutions more efficiently for healthcare professionals and patients. With a significant portion of our traffic coming from mobile users, this role is pivotal in unifying our web and mobile design systems to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.
In this position, you will design, build, and maintain a scalable web and mobile design system using React and React Native, ensuring accessibility and high performance across Doctolib's applications. Key responsibilities include driving the convergence of web and mobile design systems, developing and maintaining React Native components for seamless cross-platform experiences, and collaborating closely with product designers to translate designs into robust, reusable UI components. Additionally, you will champion accessibility by embedding inclusive design principles into our design system and providing guidance to product teams to build compliant and user-friendly experiences.
The ideal candidate has over five years of engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in React Native and a proven track record of building and shipping mobile applications. A deep understanding of design system architecture, component-driven development, and collaboration between design and engineering is essential. Proficiency in React and TypeScript, along with experience in applying accessibility best practices, is required. A passion for knowledge sharing and mentoring, as well as the ability to adapt and choose efficient technologies to solve complex UX and engineering challenges, will be highly valued.
