As a Senior Software Engineer in the Finance & Compliance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems that accurately calculate, invoice, and report the company's revenue. Your work will involve automating tax reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant authorities, and building processes for product categorization to apply correct taxes. You will collaborate closely with product managers to define and prioritize features, directly influencing the product roadmap and business impact. The role requires designing and implementing end-to-end features, participating in architectural discussions, and working with event-driven systems to focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
Ideal candidates should have strong knowledge of software development best practices, testing, and design patterns. Proficiency in business English is essential. Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and SQL is required. Familiarity with Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, and event streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous. Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is also beneficial. The company values individuals who can deliver code from development to production and have experience working in agile methodologies.
Fever offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from €50,000 to €75,000, with total compensation between €67,500 and €100,000, which includes base salary, variable components, and stock options.
