Senior Software Engineer - Data Lake & BI

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Benchmarking & Performance team, focusing on the development and management of our global performance data warehouse. This role is pivotal in transforming vast amounts of performance data into actionable insights that drive our engineering and business decisions.

Key responsibilities include designing and building the core performance data lake using columnar storage solutions, defining and governing schemas for performance telemetry, and extending our time-series database infrastructure. The engineer will also be responsible for creating self-service BI dashboards and optimizing query performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in building distributed systems, data platforms, or cloud services. Proficiency in Python or Go, hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale, and a strong understanding of data lake architectures and time-series databases are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also required.

The base salary for this position ranges from $162,000 to $242,000 annually, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Additional compensation includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
