Senior Software Developer - Digital Workflow Team
Vention is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Digital Workflow team, focusing on the development of web-based applications that automate industrial machines. This role involves designing and implementing solutions that range from cloud-based simulations to shop-floor operations, contributing to our mission of streamlining manufacturing processes.
In this position, you will engage in full-stack web development using TypeScript, building backend engines and user interfaces that enable code-free interaction with industrial machinery. Responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software lifecycle—defining requirements, designing models, implementing and testing, and overseeing deployment and maintenance. Additionally, you will lead critical technical projects across teams and departments, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have experience with TypeScript, Python, and web development frameworks such as React. A strong understanding of responsive system design, both embedded and cloud/web-based, is essential. Proficiency in distributed system design and the ability to navigate related technical challenges are required. A sense of ownership over end-to-end solutions and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also important.
